Paul Walker’s Family Feud Over Fortune Ends? Daughter Meadow Inherits Entire $25 Million Estate Of ‘Fast And The Furious’ Star
The family feud over Paul Walker's fortune seems to be ending with the late actor's father, Paul Sr., filing the will with a probate court leaving the "Fast and the Furious" star's entire $25 million estate to daughter Meadow.
The will also named the actor's mother, Cheryl, as the legal guardian of Meadow along with her $25 million fortune. Court hearing for the will, meanwhile, will begin later this month, TMZ reported.
The will could make it extremely awkward since Paul Walker's daughter is currently living with her mom Rebecca Soteros in Hawaii. Soteros earlier wanted a part of the fortune to the opposition of the actor's family, the Star magazine reported in December last year.
"There's no way Paul's family will let Rebecca get her hands on all the money. Paul's family think they should be the financial caretakers," Star reported.
Us magazine added that Paul Walker's girlfriend of seven years, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, also wanted a portion of the fortune.
Paul Walker was killed in Santa Clara on November 30 when he Porsche driven by his friend Roger Rodas crashed and exploded into flames. The coroner's report released to the public in January revealed that the luxury car was going at least 100 miles per hour prior to the accident.
MailOnline reported that Paul Walker's priority has always been his family, particularly his daughter Meadow, and prior to his death he was already thinking about quitting the showbusiness.
The website interviewed the actor's friend, Ronn Shikari, who said: "He's such a great guy and about as anti-Hollywood as you can get. There's this image of the movie superstar with the swagger and arrogance and being the big man, but Paul was none of that, he wanted to just be a regular guy."
"He was a family man and I know it hurt him to be spending so much time away from Meadow on location; he loved being with his daughter, she was his world. That's why he wanted to retire from acting and talked to his family about it, as he'd achieved everything he wanted to achieve," Paul Walker's friend added.
