After School Successfully Kicks Off First Japan Solo Tour, Featuring New Member Kaeun

Group After School embarked on their first Japan tour ‘After School First Japan Tour 2012 –PLAYGIRLZ’ on April 27 at Zepp Tokyo. The first tour included the introduction of the ninth new member Kaeun. The girls started favorably with performance of new song ‘Lady Luck.’

The performances of the girls included various songs from their first Japanese album, ‘Playgirlz’ with dance songs like ‘Gimme Love,’ ‘Broken Heart,’ and ‘Rip Off.’ The girls performed a total of 22 songs that includes hit songs ‘Diva,’ ‘Ah,’ ‘Shampoo,’ and other songs.

Member E-Young showed off her diverse talent playing the electric guitar not only showing off her dance and vocal skills.

The newest addition to the group Kaeun garnered a lot of attention as she greeted the fans in fluent Japanese during the encore performance, “I’m happy to meet all of our fans! I will do my best.”

There were about a total of 2,4000 fans filling up the entire venue the girls drove the crowd wild with their powerful performance and choreography. Fans were filled with excitement cheering for the girls.

After School tour will continue to Zepp Nagoya on April 28, Namba Hatch on April 30 as well as the finale stage at Tokyo Dome City Hall on June 17.
