Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Blu Releases 4.5" Budget iPhone Look-A-Like With Midrange Specs, Boasts Quad-Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8-Megapixel Camera

There are already a number of exciting upcoming Android phones for 2014 from big brands such as Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC. However, there are still some manufacturers which have been developing quality devices at affordable prices. One of these manufacturers is Blu.

Blu has been releasing high quality Android phones lately, but it may have outdone itself with this latest device.

The company has recently unveiled another midranger, this time dubbed Life Pure Mini. The Android-powered handset boasts a 4.5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 resolution, a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.

Other notable specs include an 8-megapixel primary snapper at the back and a 2MP front-facing cam, a 3,000mAh battery which is fairly impressive at this price and spec range, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

However, what you would have noticed in the photo is its resemblance to the iPhone. Whether we admit or not, Apple's premium handset might be one of Blu's inspirations as far as design and aesthetics are concerned.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Blu Life Pure Mini will cost $249 and would be available in a matte black and white color options.
