Minecraft PS4 Release Date News: 4J Studios Posts 1st Official Image Of The Game Running On Sony PlayStation 4; New Items From TU14 Spotted

Although Minecraft PS4 release date has not been revealed yet, 4J Studios has recently provided a teaser image for the Title Update 14 for the game.

Via Twitter, the game company posted the first official image for Minecraft: PS4 Edition. It particularly shows a comparison photo of the upcoming Minecraft PS4 version and the currently available PS3 edition of the game. The top screen depicted on the picture shows Minecraft running on PS4 while the bottom screen displays the PS3 edition of the hit open-world sandbox game.

Aside from showing a sneak peek for Minecraft PS4 Edition, new items from Title Update 14 were also spotted on the image. As posted on Attack of The Fanboy site, hawk-eyed fans of the game discovered a host of new stuffs such as carpets, Wither Boss and Enderchests.

Furthermore, Game Ranx also mentioned other new features to have ce TU14 arrives and they include "rotated logs, jungle temples, carrot on a stick, nether quartz, emeralds, baked potatoes, desert temples, desert villages, smooth and chiseled sandstone, cobblestone walls, anvils, tripwires and pumpkin pies."

Minecraft: PS3 Edition can be availed through digital download from the PS Store. As posted on Examiner, the PS3 version has sold 1 million copies in its 1st of month of release. Minecraft also performs strongly on PC, Mac and Xbox 360.
