iPhone 6 Release Date: Next iPhone Rumored To Get First Camera Upgrade In 2 Years, Sensor Resolution Up To 10MP With F/1.8 Aperture

If you have been checking out details of the iPhone 6 release date, you may want to read this.

According to a new rumor reported by GSM Arena, the upcoming iPhone handset will have a camera improvement, the first in over two years of using 8 megapixels in its previous handsets which include the iPhone 5s and 5c, the iPhone 5, and the iPhone 4s.

The report comes from a Chinese website which claims that the iPhone 6 will have a 10-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of F/1.8. Other alleged improvements also include better skins and filters which are reportedly thinner and lighter.

These features are claimed to boost the camera's ability to capture quality images and get the exact colors of objects, perform low-light shots but retain the image's quality, and take impressive close up shots that can rival that of a DSLR's.

Another report also claims that Apple is working on its new optical image stabilization feature to further improve the quality of shots made, especially now that the upcoming iPhone will have a 10MP sensor, or so the rumor goes.

Let us just take all of these details with a grain of salt until Apple confirms them itself.
