HTC One 2 M8 Release Date Draws Near As Live Photos Surface, New Flagship Device Boasts Super-Thin Bezels, Similar Design

The HTC One 2 M8 release date is fast approaching, there's no doubt about it. However, it is interesting to point out that the company has not even made any announcements about it just yet.

But with this new live image of the new flagship, the Taiwanese manufacturer has certainly upped its A-game in terms of design.

We all know that HTC has been designing some of the most gorgeous-looking phones in the industry, and the current HTC One flagship is a testimony to that. While it boasts similar specs to Samsung's Galaxy S4, it was considered by many as the top Android handset in its time due to its aluminum build and dual speakers in front.

And from the looks of it, HTC has taken these features in mind and placed them on its successor, the One 2 (M8).

In the image shown above, the handset boasts some really thin bezels which would definitely be one of its main selling points.

Design details aside, the HTC One 2 M8 boasts some pretty solid specifications as well. It is rumored to pack a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM, a dual UltraPixel camera with 5MP of resolution, Sense 6, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

Previous rumors claim the device will be announced in March at an event in New York.
