Kate Middleton Fashion Style Not Pleasing To The Queen's Eyes? Duchess Of Cambridge Mandated To Wear 'More Regal' Dresses With Lower Hemlines

Although often praised by media for its simple yet sophisticated approach, Kate Middleton's fashion style reportedly does not impress Queen Elizabeth II. Prince William's beloved grandmother allegedly wants to see the Duchess of Cambridge clad in more regal-looking clothes.

As per Vanity Fair's report, Her Majesty has officially asked the 32-year-old duchess to incorporate more jewels to her wardrobe. The change to Kate Middleton's fashion style has to take place before she visits Australia in April. She will be staying in the country for three-and-a-half weeks for royal duties.

Apart from lavish jewels, it is also the queen's request for Prince William's wife to wear dresses with lower hemlines.Even Middleton's favorite day dresses will similarly undergo a major revamp. She is also encouraged to wear tiaras that have been approved by the 87-year-old royal.

"This trip will be about Kate appearing more royal than ever, you can expect to see a lot more tiaras and the queen will be watching closely," reveals one palace insider.

Stylist Angela Kelly will reportedly assist Middleton in preparing her wardrobe for the upcoming trip in April. Designers Sarah Burton and Alice Temperley will likewise be sought in creating dresses that would adhere to the queen's wishes.
