Pokemon Level 100 Glitch And Mega Evolution Anime Special: Red, Blue, And Yellow Fun Before X And Y Movie 17 'Cocoon Of Destruction & Diancie' And Darkrai Distribution!

As a new year in Pokemon continues, not only do fans have an upcoming Mega Evolution anime special to anticipate, but a fun glitch that could make Red, Blue, and Yellow very entertaining as well.

The Level 100 glitch (also known as "the EXP underflow glitch") has been well-documented, but has recently regained momentum for fans who didn't know about this Pokemon glitch until recently.

"In Generation I and Generation II, Level 1 Pokémon in the Medium Slow group were calculated to have -54 experience points. However, due to the use of unsigned integers, the game interpreted this value as 16,777,162 experience points. If a Level 1 Pokémon with negative experience points completed a battle without gaining enough experience points to reach 0 or higher, the game, attempting to determine its level based on the number of experience points it had, would consider it to be at Level 100 (having gone well over the amount required to reach this level), causing it to instantaneously jump to this level."

And yes, this can happen before the first gym leader. So check out the tutorial below to know how to use this glitch in Pokemon Red, Blue, or Yellow.

In addition, an upcoming anime special will air in Japan on April 3 which will deal exclusively with Mega Evolution.

According to Serebii, this Mega Evolution anime special focuses on a new character called Alan as well as the Elite Four member Siebold. New characters also include Manon, Louis, and Ayaka.

Alan's goal is to defeat every single Mega Evolution to prove himself as the strongest trainer.

No doubt this Mega Evolution special is being aired specifically before the Pokemon X and Y movie, "Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie," which will heavily focus on Mega Evolution.

Given that a Darkrai distribution will go along with preordering your ticket for the Pokemon X and Y movie, fans should definitely get excited!
