Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Another Samsung Midrange Handset Goes Official In Brazil, Specs Of Galaxy S3 Slim Include 4.5" qHD Display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 5MP Shooter

Upcoming Android phones 2014: In a rather unsurprising fashion, Samsung has unveiled another midrange device, this time aimed at the Brazilian market. 

According to a report from GSM Arena, the newly-released handset named Galaxy S3 Slim is a midrange device that packs decent specs at a supposedly cheaper price tag. 

As another low-end variant of its Galaxy S3, which launched two years ago, the S3 Slim boasts enough features to become a good buy for Android fans looking for an affordable handset. 

The freshly-announced device packs a 4.5-inch screen with qHD (960 x 540) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory. 

Other specs on board also include a 5-megapixel camera at the back and a VGA shooter in front. Based on previous Samsung releases, the device could probably come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. 

While there are no additional details regarding availability and pricing, we expect the Galaxy S3 Slim to officially hit the market in a few weeks.
