Nexus 10 2 Release Date Set For Q3 2014 Alongside New 8.9 – Inch Screen Google Slate? New Android Tablets Coming This July?

Contradicting rumors regarding Nexus 10 2 release date are currently surfacing online.

Some of the reports about Nexus 10 2 release suggest that the launching of the second-generation 10-inch device may be delayed, as Google is currently concentrating to reveal a new model for its tablet line - the Nexus 8.

According to a post on International Business Times, the Nexus 8, set to replace the Nexus 7, is expected to be in production starting July or August. Rumors also suggest that the device will "carry a premium price tag worthy of the specs."

Furthermore, a post on Gamer Headlines are also stating the possibility that Nexus 10 2 release date will not happen any time soon. As mentioned, since the mass production for new devices will begin late July or early August, Android fans can expect that that Nexus 10 2 release date may happen at some point during the holiday season of 2014, or at the earliest, during fall.

 As for the hardware specs of the tablet, Nexus 10 2 is reported to sport the new Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. Morever, the upcoming tablet is expected to have a 10.1-inch body, screen resolution of 2560 X 1600 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 3 GB RAM, 8 MP primary camera, and a 2.1 secondary cam.

On the other hand, a recent post from Crossmap about Nexus 10 2 release date suggested the chance for Nexus 8 and Nexus 10 2 to have their debut this summer. The report cited a post on IB Times, which noted that Nexus 10 2 might be announced during Google's I/O Developer Conference, which is scheduled for June 25-26.
