The latest Nintendo Direct is all about Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Wii U and 3DS, and a massive update on the Pokemon crossover has hit the web.
In addition to previously announced Pokemon joining Super Smash Bros. 4 like Pikachu and Lucario, a host of new Pokemon from X and Y will also make appearances.
For example, joining the roster of fighters for Super Smash Bros. 4 includes Greninja and Charizard. Much like Lucario, Charizard will have access to its Mega Evolution.
Breaking their Smash Ball allows each Pokemon fighter to get power-up moves, like Mega Lucario's Aura Sphere.
In addition, Super Smash Bros. 4 will also see the return of Poke Balls. This time around a lot of Pokemon X and Y Pokedex additions have been added, including Gogoat, Fennekin, Chespin, Dedenne.
Of course, original iconic Pokemon like Eevee are coming back as well.
And finally, Super Smash Bros. 4 is introducing a new game mechanic in the form of Master Balls.
It functions like Poke Balls, but with a Master Ball, you can have access to legendary Pokemon like Xerneas, Keldeo, Deoxys, Mew, and more.
