Legend Of Korra Creators Tumblr Updates Before Book 3: Korra, Avatar The Last Airbender Art Plus Cosplay Ball Zuko And Sokka Costumes!

As "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 continues to elude us, a flurry of Tumblr updates from co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino have surfaced.

While Michael DiMartino mostly remains quiet on Tumblr and avoids any "Legend of Korra" updates, the man has a new Tumblr layout. Perhaps a foreshadowing of changes to come?

Meanwhile, Bryan Konietzko has a series of art from "The Legend of Korra" as well as "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

In the art, we see a flying bison poster done with Chinese calligraphy, and a Fire Day Festival poster.

In addition, we have a new digital painting of Korra, as well as cosplay photos from the 2014 Cosplay Ball.

It does feel like the co-creators are hankering to update fans with any news possible, even though a Book 3 release date still eludes us.

According to The Legend of Korra Online, an inside source working on the production of Book 3 believes that while some fans may not have enjoyed Book 2 as much, Book 3 will be a different animal.

"Upon discussing 'Korra,' the source stated that he enjoyed Book 2, but that he also understood why some fans might not have enjoyed it as much. Book 3, on the other hand, will be a completely different story," writes Keval.

Reportedly, fans should "expect big things" from Book 3, while acknowledging flaws of Book 2. For those who didn't enjoy Book 2, this certainly helps build excitement for the upcoming season of "The Legend of Korra."

Sadly, it seems more and more likely that a release date will not arrive until San Diego Comic-Con in July.
