Jennette McCurdy Leaked Naked Selfies Could Only Be a Boost, Hopefully to Her Paycheck

Jennette McCurdy Leaked Pictures 2014: Jennette McCurdy was livid after someone leaked sexy lingerie selfies on the Internet on March 3. At first Jennett McCurdy blamed the leaked naked selfies on her boyfriend, Je 20-year-old Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond, but many former Nickelodeon/Disney channel child stars have done similar sexy stunts at some point after leaving the channel, sometimes while still on it. Andre Drummond says he had nothing to do with the Jennette McCurdy lingerie shots.  

If Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy's budding careers were not enough to kill any chances of a second season of Sam and Cat, then McCurdy's recent falling out with Nickelodeon might do the trick. Jennettte McCurdy and Ariana Grande are BFFs, right? They even sing together. But they don't get paid the same. Jennette McCurdy, star of iCarly and more recently Sam & Cat, says that her issue with Nickelodeon stems from the fact that she's not paid nearly as much as her co-star Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande responded on Twitter saying "I hate addressing rumors and I hate gossip but this is really bothering me. Jennette and I agreed upfront that we would be treated equally on this show in all regards (as we should be, considering we each work just as hard as the other on this show). The rumors circulating about our contracts and our salary not being equal are absolutely ridiculous and false. I don't know who's putting these idiotic quotes out there but I thought I'd straighten it out and try to end this nonsense."

Jennette McCurdy iCarly Star leaked naked selfies might be the best thing she could have done. It was big news all month.  It increased the iCarly star's profile. Jennette McCurdy's Twitter and Facebook followers grew as fast as the rumors. McCurdy recently revealed that she did not want to continue playing the role of Sam Puckett after iCarly ended. She said "I did not want to play Sam anymore--I was over it. I'm sarcastic and blunt enough in real life that I wanted to do something different."

Jennette McCurdy isn't going to get fired over the leaked semi-naked selfies. Shadford, Director of Maxim TV, told FOX411's In the Zone "We are 100 percent immune to sexy selfies. Absolutely no one cares about it anymore."

SiriusXM radio personality Cristina Palumbo says McCurdy's naked selfies could even help her career, "Every star that has done this has been handsomely rewarded in the long run as far as fame is concerned. It can't hurt her. I don't think anything can hurt you nowadays.

Ken Shaford agreed "It's a good way for a young star to transition into being seen as a more adult star."
