The Hardest Pokemon To Find After X And Y, Including Legendary Pokedex Additions: Chansey, Noibat, Feebas, Starters, And More!

Now that another generation of Pokemon has been released in X and Y, it's time to take another look at the hardest Pokemon to find and catch spanning all six generations.

Every time a new Pokemon game is released, the discussion on the hardest Pokedex additions to find and catch is renewed. Here are some general breakdowns of how they usually go.

Legendary Pokemon

Yes, it's obvious to any Pokemon fan that finding and catching a legendary Pokemon is very difficult. Outside of them only appearing in most games like X and Y once, their catch rate is also very low.

On Bulbapedia, you'll find a list of Pokemon in order of their catch rate, from the easiest to the hardest to catch. Note that Pokemon X and Y Pokedex additions have not yet been added.

What's not surprising is that all the legendary Pokemon have the lowest catch rate at the bottom, but what are some surprises? Kyogre and Groudon actually have a slightly higher catch rate than the other legendary Pokemon. Beldum, Metang, and Metagross have the same catch rate as a legendary, despite not technically being one.

Event Pokemon

Unless you are a Japanese Pokemon fan, event Pokemon can sometimes be frustrating. You have to be at the right place at the right time, there is sometimes a lengthy delay for distribution events outside of Japan.

The hardest event Pokemon to find? Mew, who has not appeared as an event Pokemon since 2005.

Others

In the video below, we have YouTuber ExtraordinaireJunior talking about the newest list of hard-to-find Pokemon after the release of Pokemon X and Y.

Amongst them, new Pokedex addition Noibat is added, who is considered to be a pseudo-legendary Pokemon like Metagross or Heatran.

Other Pokemon who made the list include Chansey, Feebas, Pinsir, and Scyther.

What do you think of this list? Is it accurate? What's been the most difficult Pokemon for you to catch?
