Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date: 4.4.3 Update Now Rolling Out To Sprint's Nexus 5 Devices, Improves Wi-Fi, Bluetooth And Camera, Fixes Random Reboots

Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date: Google's Nexus lineup is certainly one of the best in both the smartphone and tablet categories. However, it is also plagued with initial bugs which come with fresh updates of Android.

Of course, an upside to that is that it is also among the first ones to receive bug-squashing updates such as this one.

According to a report by GSM Arena, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat is now available for download for Nexus 5 devices via OTA. Unfortunately, only those Nexus 5 handsets in Sprint's network can avail the update today.

In recent weeks, we have seen leaked builds and files for the 4.4.3 update. For Nexus 5 owners, they sure hope it will include a fix or upgrade to improve the camera interface and tools in the smartphone.

In the report, the update includes improvements for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as fixes for connection low, mobile data features, random reboots and camera performance.

With build number KTU48F, the 4.4.3 update is already the third installment in the Kitkat version. However, all of these updates are mainly for bug squashing purposes.

We expect a major update for Kitkat in the coming months before version 4.4.5 comes out with the Nexus 6. In previous rumors and reports, the upcoming Nexus device is said to be based on the LG G3, just like the Nexus 5 was based on the G2 last year.

Are you a Sprint subscriber who owns a Nexus 5 device? Then go to a Wi-Fi hotspot right now and download the update via OTA. And share us in the comments section below what you think about it.
