'Watch Dogs' Wii U Release Date Set For Fall 2014; Launch Timeframe Posted At UPlay, Ubisoft's Official Store; Cheat Codes Not Available For Upcoming Game

A new update about "Watch Dogs" Wii U release date has emerged.

A listing on UPlay, Ubisoft's official store suggest a timeframe for "Watch Dogs" Wii U release date. Reportedly, the release date for "Watch Dogs" Wii U version's will happen at some point this fall 2014 for North America.

The Watch Dogs release date for other consoles other than the Wii U is set for May 27, as previously announced by Ubisoft. Particularly, Watch Dogs will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One later next month.

According to the Examiner, "Watch Dogs" Wii U release date has been delayed because the publisher wants to polish the Nintendo version more, as well as "take advantage of the console's unique touch screen game pad."

Watch Dogs is an open-world action-adventure video game where players take on the role of Aiden Pearce, "a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy." Further describing the game, the official site reads:

Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.

 As for other news , Watch Dogs will not have any cheat codes, as recently confirmed by the creative director for the game, Jonathan Morin via Twitter, responding to a question from a fan.
