Cameron Diaz Has No Problem With `The Other Woman’; Cameron Diaz Doesn’t Believe in Monogamy, Says `Relax, Everyone Gets Cheated On’

Cameron Diaz, who's new movie is called "The Other Woman" says she doesn't believe in monogamy.

Cameron Diaz says having "lots of lovers' is better than trying to stick with one man." The 41-year-old actress revealed in several interviews that she thinks it was almost impossible for couples to stay married for life.

Cameron Diaz says she doesn't know if anyone is really monogamous in a relationship.

The star of such films as "Gangs of New York," "Charlie's Angels" and "The Other Woman" told InStyle magazine people think marriage will make them happy, but once they get married, they're miserable.

Cameron said: "We can have all of these girlfriends, all of these friendships. I know with my girlfriends I do totally different things with each one of them. I have different conversations. We like things that others don't like. There are different commonalities in each one of them and when I want to do those certain things, I can go to that girlfriend and we do those things together."

She continued "That's perfectly fine that she doesn't like to do the thousands of other things that I like to do. I'm perfectly okay with that with her. For some reason, we get into relationships and we expect one man to understand 'all' the parts of us and meet all of those needs. I think that's where everything fails."

Cameron Diaz has been linked to some of Hollywood's hottest leading men. She dated Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and baseball star Alex Rodriguez. Diaz told InStyle she has no regrets about those past loves.

She says "I'm grateful for all of it - whether it was something quick and passing or something that lingered too long. There is not one thing I've been through that hasn't been a lesson that led me to this moment, and I can't believe how great life keeps getting."

Diaz said the same thing on BBC's "The Graham Norton Show" last week. "I'm like, 'Relax. It's OK if you did.' Everybody gets cheated on," she explained.

Diaz's new movie, "The Other Woman," hits theaters on April 25.
