"No, we didn't," manager Fredi Gonzalez said when asked if his squad had the game the whole way. "That almost seemed like two different games. [Ervin] Santana pitches [a great] game and ties his career high in strikeouts, and the next thing you know, in the next two innings, 12 runs are scored."
Gattis, Uggla and shortstop Andrelton Simmons hit back-to-back-to-back homers in the eighth.
"We have a lot of guys who can change the game with one swing," Uggla told ESPN.com. "Tonight we were able to put some at-bats together."

"If you make a mistake, it's in the seats," Gonzalez said after a game that featured seven homers -- two apiece by Uggla and catcher Evan Gattis.
Philly could have pulled off the great comeback, but unfortunately for them it didn't work out that way.
"It's hard to say, because we didn't win it," said Byrd, asked about the possible momentum a victory could have created. "You can't really speculate on that. We've got to figure out a way to bounce back and make sure this doesn't snowball and turn into something bad."
