RHOC Shannon Beador Good For Orange County? The Real Housewives of Orange County premiere was a little bit underwhelming considering RHOC is the original Real Housewives show in the franchise. The firing of Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino has shown. The main character of Orange County Housewives is definitely Heather Dubrow, whom is not exactly the most colorful wife to hit Orange County. Shannon Beador is totally cool, and as an avid viewer I can see some serious promise from her on RHOC. Shannon is quirky, a little strange, and yet hypocritical in her ways. RHOC if filled with fillers and surgeries and Shannon possesses that, yet she comes off as a green goddess that adores holistic medicine. It's a dissonance you can only find on Real housewives and the newbie delivers. Watching the promos of the real housewives of Orange County we are in for a treat with the freshman RHOC star screaming 'you will find out the truth' to the cameras. What did Shannon and the other ladies do to provoke such a crazy altercation?

The RHOC premiere started off with low expectations as we were all aware that two new Orange County Housewives casted are complete unknowns. Shannon and Lizzie were stepping into Orange County, yet only Shannon was teh only new RHOC star that appeared in the premiere. Beador will be interesting to watch. Looks like Shannon is not a fan of Heather telling her to keep it real.  As the Shannon addition was semi interesting, the rest of the Orange County based show was a miss. Heather lands an acting role in Hawaii and asks Tamra to go and offers another invite to Vicki. The trip was so expected and dull that I wished it was still Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Monday. Tamra and Vicki show up in Hawaii hoping to get Heather, aka Fancy Pants, drunk and jumping on tables, but the Fancy Housewives star is not having any part of it. Wow Orange County. What a shocker. Heather is no fun. I already knew that and how dumb does Bravo think Orange County Housewives fans are?

Heather, Tamra and Vicki go surfing and of course Heather is the best at it. It sets up the 'heather is best and heather knows all' slow brewing argument. But it is not fun to Housewives fans that need more that the cliché storyline. When bringing up Vicki's on again off again boyfriend, Brooks, it seems like everyone is one edge to ask Gunvalson. Omg bravo! Who cares anymore! Brooks is as old as real housewives of New York City's Sonja Morgan's teeth. The combo of old housewives storylines and no real drama has made the Orange County Housewives premiere a total bust. Maybe Shannon Beador can breath some new life back into RHOC.

And can I just mention Vicki's ever changing face. Did she actually get more plastic surgery? Her lips are going to explode all over her Miss Piggy face!

But Vicki's dughter and her marine man are even worse. I can't stand the way she treats her mom and Vicki tells the cameras that her relationship with her daughter is great. It's another one of Vicki's lies and it's very sad.

So maybe, just maybe, the new OC ladies Lizzie and Shannon can make a difference in our beloved original show.
