The Real Housewives of Atlanta Finale Didn't Deliver! [VIDEO] Nene Leakes Sick, Kandi Burress Has Musical, Cynthia And Phaedra Give NOTHING And Porsha Stewart Storyline A Bust
The Real Housewives of Atlanta finale wrapped up the Housewives season, kinda but left me a little disappointed. There wasn't enough Housewives drama to fulfill me and the finale didn't quite wrap up the Atlanta season. I don't know why I feel like the finale didn't totally deliver, but It just did not do it for me. Nene Leakes being a little sick, Cynthia giving nothing, Phaedra being almost entirely absent and Kenya being nice to everyone was kind of off pudding. The main focus of The Atlanta Housewives finale was the musical starring Kandi Burress and Porsha Stewart. Glad that Porsha got it together for the play, but it left viewers scratching their heads thinking that the Real Housewives of Atlanta storylines are totally edited. They made Porsha look like an amateur all season!
The play was beautiful. Really, it was nothing short of heightened reality taken to a level of honesty that Kandi is so clever at creating. I love how Kandi gives much props to Todd for all if his work put into the project. I'm amazed that Real Housewives of Atlanta spun Todd into a positive light, when they could so easily portray him as an 'opportunist.' The real housewives of atlanta could use a legit hubby like Todd around. And it was lovely to see him make peace with Mama Joyce. Nene wasn't feeling well for the finale so she didn't show to the musical's opening. Porsha finalized her divorce from Kordell and did a smashing job in the play.
As much as I love Porsha, I adore her sister Lauren the same. I'm impressed that Real Housewives Of Atlanta execs have shown Porsha with here mom and sis, and her success in the musical for the finale. It gives hope to people going through a painful divorce. It portrays the message that you can live past a split, a heartbreak, and a financial detriment. Go Porsha! And yay to Atlanta Housewives! Phaedra...I'm bored. Cynthia...snore. Kenya really made me hug my kitties more watching her have a REAL cry...a genuine emotion. Maybe execs want us sympathize with Kenya 'more.' We will see how it all unfolds at the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion!
