PlayStation Plus Free Games: PS Vita Game ‘PixelJunk Monsters’ Enters Instant Game Collection Tomorrow, April 22; Batman Titles On Sale This Week
One of the PlayStation Plus free games announced for April is about to enter the Instant Game Collection tomorrow.
As posted on GameSpot, the PS Vita game, "PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD" will be the addition to the PlayStation Plus free games for the month. It is set to enter the PS Plus Instant Game Collection for US members tomorrow, April 22.
As described on the US PlayStation Blog, players of the "PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD" will take on the role of Tikiman "who has to defend his offspring from the hordes of monsters in the forest." The gameplay for this PlayStation Plus free game for PS Vita, as further described on the post, reads:
"In this tower defense game you'll strategically place weapons to help you whittle down the herd of creatures before they can make it to your children. As the baddies fall, you'll collect coins to build new armaments and construct more weapon sites so you can be better prepared for the next wave. Save the kiddies!"
This PlayStation Plus free game will replace "Street Fighter x Tekken," according to the post on PlayStation Lifestyle website.
Aside from the PlayStation Plus free games, members can also look forward to the list of games on sale this week, which includes three Batman titles. For a cheaper price, PS Plus members can get "Batman: Arkham Asylum," "Batman: Arkham Origins" and "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate" in celebration of the launch of the "Cold, Cold Heart DLC" for "Batman: Arkham Origins."
