Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra: Only One Phablet Could Emerge As The Best In The Market! Head To Head Comparison Of These Powerful Devices

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra:

The specs of Sony's flagship has garnered positive reviews. No surprise as it sports a 6.4-inch display and Qualcomm's newest brand of chipset. Based on reports, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra is quite a contender in the ranks of the heavyweights like Samsung, HTC and Nokia devices.

This is the first phablet that the Japanese company is putting out and will walk that thin line between expensive smartphones and tablets. The screen comes in at a whopping 6.4 inches with one of the best processors in the market today, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800.

According to Tech Spot, the design is centered on a 6.5mm thick size that is still slimmer than the Galaxy S4. Users will like the different concept of having glass both on the front and back of the phone although this means more fingerprint smudges. The front speaker and microphone in the device are discretely tucked away in some small lines leaving for a lot of space for the Sony, NFC and Xperia logos on the minimalistic design.

On the other hand, one of the first things many would appreciate in the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the enlarged 5.7in display. Samsung has kept the rest of the device the same size as its predecessor expanding the display as they have recently been aiming for with all their successor models. This means users should look forward to a much narrower bezel despite the generous Super AMOLED display size. Keeping in line with all the recent smartphones, Samsung has also given the Galaxy Note 3 a full HD 1080p resolution for extreme color and clarity.

According to Know Your Mobile, Samsung has chosen a faux leather back panel that is soft to the touch with fine stitching that is appealing to the eye. The South Korean tech giant ensured that they used synthetic leather that you can easily clean. This is deemed a step in the right directions by many users and critics who were not fans of the plastic used on former handsets. The plastic according to Know Your Mobile was slippery and gave the device a cheap look. The new back panel on the other hand feels solid in the hand and offers some good gripping.
