‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Plot Spoilers: HYDRA Created Ultron Using Stolen Stark Technology? Guilt-Driven Iron Man To Revive SHIELD With ?

The origin of Ultron has already been altered by the absence of Henry Pym. However, clues from the recently shown "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and the casting of the upcoming "Ant-Man" movie led to a theory.

Michael Douglas will be playing Henry Pym, and based on the age (close to 60), he's been around. There are also insinuations that there would be flashbacks.

The events after Captain America 2 will make a significant impact on the Avengers, specifically with their SHIELD connection. Suffice to say, everything has been compromised.

The theory, as presented by Moviepilot on how Ultron was created:

"Hank Pym, being an older fella, has been affiliated with SHIELD since its creation. In order for Marvel to stick to the original story with just a slight change, I think they should follow this lead."

"Several years after the death of Captain America, Hank Pym and Howard Stark begin constructing new mechanical soldiers for the United States Army. However, due to expenses the operation is canned and locked away. Fast forward to modern day, where SHIELD has now shown itself to secretly be Hydra. Baron von Strucker, who we see in the mid-credit scene of Captain America, has his hands on many SHIELD crates that were unused or stolen. While looking through the crates von Strucker finds what looks like a 1950's version of Iron Man. Using stolen SHIELD and Stark technology *cough cough JARVIS* Von Strucker upgrades the machine and powers it using the mind gem in Loki's scepter (last seen in Strucker's possession in The Winter Soldier) Finally, Hydra upgrades Ultron with his infamous vibranium shell, which was in SHIELDs possession since Captain America: The First Avenger."

Baron von Strucker is shaping up to be a much more formidable villain than we give him credit for. He is a little younger than Henry Pym, and there could be a deeper connection. But that's another story.

From what we have in this theory, Tony Stark would have a reason to feel responsible for the death and destruction brought about by Ultron. He will also feel that the absence of SHIELD has left the world more vulnerable.

Marvel has an official statement that teases Maria Hill's return in the TV series-as an employee of Stark Industries.

"Now, with S.H.I.E.L.D. gone Maria Hill has found herself working for Tony Stark...but she'll soon have an encounter with her former colleague, Phil Coulson."

Will this meeting form the foundation of a new SHIELD? Will Tony Stark become the head of this organization? May 1, 2015 is an important date in any Marvel fan's calendar. The plot thickens.
