Kate Hudson Matthew Bellamy Not Splitting Up; Matthew Bellamy Gets All of Coachella To Serenade Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy have gotten through their rough patch. Witness say Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy looked "so in love" at their anniversary party and at Kate's birthday party.

According to reports Hudson and Matthew Bellamy, who got engaged in 2011, were going through a difficult time with their relationship in February, but patched things up a month later. Rumors that Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy are splitting up vanished after what he pulled off  for her birthday.

Kate Hudson, who turned 35 last week, has been engaged to Bellamy, the frontman for the band Muse and the father of their 2-year-old son Bing, since April 2011. Kate Hudson is in no rush to tie the knot with fiancé Matthew Bellamy, which might be due to some advice her Goldie Hawn, gave her.

Kate Hudson graces cover of the latest issue of Self magazine. In the accompanying interview, Kate said her mom Goldie Hawn told her "Honor your female friendships, because men can come and go, but when we nurture our relationships with women, they can be forever."

Hudson told Self magazine, "I really believe that. My girlfriends are so important to me. They've been my rock-solid foundation. You have a choice: Support the woman standing next to you or compete with her. But if you compete, you're going to be miserable. Stick with what motivates you and makes you happy."

That might be why Kate Hudson is not getting married 'anytime soon' to Matthew Bellamy who put together the birthday bash himself at her family's house in Palm Springs, Calif., during the second weekend of Coachella. Muse performed two sets at Coachella. Midway through their show on April 19, he stopped and asked the crowd to sing "Happy Birthday" to Kate.

Matthew and Kate met at Coachella in 2010.
