It has been previously written that Katy Perry and John Mayer's split caused the 'Dark Horse' songstress to yearn for a baby that would make up for the alleged emptiness she was feeling. Perry is reportedly eyeing a man who will impregnate her without commitments.

Such report appears to complement the 'Roar' hit maker's music video for her single 'Birthday' wherein she dressed up as a clown and crashed a child's birthday party at the Knollwood Country Club in the outskirts of Los Angeles, California. The prank not only surprised the kids but also left some in tears.

According to several insiders of TMZ, the reaction of the partygoers was natural because they had no idea about the antic of the 29-year-old singer. One girl even asked her mom to leave because of the gag.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, John Mayer's former lady love talked about her intention in doing the antic: "I just did a music video completely undercover as five of the world's worst birthday entertainers, because I was sick of making gorgeous music videos where I'm sexual."

Perry even shared a preview of the video wherein she said, "I'm not really a birthday party entertainer, I'm just trying to get some cash on the side. Happy birthday kids."

Until now, the reason for Katy Perry and John Mayer's split remains undisclosed although it was allegedly because of the 'Love Song for No One' crooner's infidelity.
