"Mad Men" season 7, episode 4 spoilers are up and it shows Don Draper connecting with an old friend while Sterling Cooper & Partners welcome a mystery guest.

Historically, creators of the series have kept their cards close to their chest and that results to scant resources in terms of previews. Promotional materials and video teasers also don't help as they don't provide anything rather than to tease, said International Business Times.   

True to form, the video released by AMC provide very little "Mad Men" season 7, episode 4 spoilers but they're enough to keep fans guessing.

"Mad Men season 7, episode 4 is called "The Monolith," and according to the official synopsis of the network, Roger will deal with problems at home and Peggy will be underestimated.

The "Mad Men" season 7, episode 4 spoilers video showed Don Draper saying to the phone "Are you there?" The next shot shows him dejectedly hanging the phone. What could have prompted Don Draper to call an old friend, and more importantly, who is this friend?

In episode 3 called "Field Trip," according to TIME, Don Draper seem to have turned over a new leaf but eventually-when Megan tells him they need to separate and SC&P has moved on without him-he showed how self-centered he really is.

"Don is still the center of his own universe, and everyone else is just a satellite that revolves around him," Nolan Feeney wrote for TIME. "As the episode suggests, Don won't truly get his act together unless he figures that out."

"Mad Men" season 7 premiere rating was a huge letdown as last Sunday's episode only generated 2.3 milion viewers against the 3.37 million debut last year.

According to Nielsen, the debut figures are even lower compared to the June sixth season finale last year which generated 2.69 million viewership.

However, Variety said while the series " has never been a ratings juggernaut," the "Mad Men" season 7 premiere's ratings were even down compared to its standards.
