In his Twitter page, boy band member Liam Payne wrote: "Can't be without you. Worse thing I ever did was let you go...No all I got left is the thought of you."

According to E! News, it's not likely that the post was for promotional purposes for a new song because the post was uploaded at 3 a.m. local time and he was in Chile at that time.

But the website stopped short of linking the post to Liam Payne's girlfriend Sophia Smith.

The entertainment new site also tried to get to the bottom of the Liam Payne break up rumors by reaching out to his rep but was told that they "don't comment on our client's personal lives."

But the alleged Liam Payne's break up post won't be seen by his girlfriend because the singer reportedly prohibited her from having a Twitter account in order to prevent her from stressing over every little rumor or criticism.

"There's just stuff out there that you just don't want to see," he told Jason Kennedy.

Liam Payne's girlfriend Sophia Smith is reportedly growing distant from her childhood friend and beau for eight months, said Hello magazine, as the One Direction cutie is reportedly having difficulty dealing with the pressures of fame.
