‘Game Of Thrones’ Lena Headey: Broke No More! Cersei Actress Will Star In Clive Barker Horror Film As Jacqueline Ess

"Game of Thrones" actress Lena Headey is broke no more! The actress who plays Cersei in "Game of Thrones" will star in Clive Barker's horror film "Jacqueline Ess," Variety reports

"Lena Headey is a marvelous performer with an incredible presence," executive producer Clive Barker said of the "Game of Thrones" actress, according to Variety. "As far as I'm concerned, there is no better choice of actress for the role of Jacqueline. Her beauty and authority will carry the day."

"Jacqueline Ess" is the story of a woman who can transform people's bodies at will. It originally appeared in Barker's "Books of Blood" anthologies, which also included the stories that were basis for the horror films "Lord of Illusions" and "Candyman," Variety reports.

Lena Headey is likely relieved she got the role: nearly a year ago the "Game of Thrones" actress claimed she had "less than $5″ in her bank account, Forbes reports. In legal documents related to her 2012 divorce filing from husband Peter Loughran, she petitioned for half of the couple's $46,000 2011 tax return, saying she needed the money for her and their 2-year-old son. Lena Headey also sold her former home in Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon-area at a loss: originally purchased by Headey and her ex-husband for $1,685,000 in June 2008, the couple sold the property for $1,349,000 in late 2012.

However, Headey recently purchased a dated fixer-upper in Sherman Oaks, CA for $790,000.

Property records show the deal for the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1,808 square foot home closed on April 4, 2014, Forbes reports.

Lena Headey also recently starred in "300: Rise of an Empire."
