Hayden Panettiere Boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko Opted To Delay Wedding Because Of Ukraine Turmoil; 'Nashville' Star Willing To Wait For Years Just To Have "Fun, Happy, And Stress-free" Wedding

Other couples might be too absorbed in ensuring that all the wedding details such as dresses and caterers are ironed out but for Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko, the ongoing turmoil in his home, Ukraine, is delaying him from marrying his lady love.

Due to the political upheaval currently happening in the boxer's country, the 24-year-old actress confirmed to Parade magazine that they have decided to put their wedding plans on hold: "Everything that's happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things."

Apart from actively campaigning for the cause through her social networking accounts, the ‘Nashville' star has likewise visited the country in December to personally communicate with the protesters.

"As an American, I want you to know that I stand by you, I support your fight, and I will support it until the country of Ukraine in its entirety reflects the beauty, the true beauty of Ukrainian people. Keep fighting. I love you all," she told them.

Klitschko similarly feels distracted by the crisis in his country. In March, he told Daily Mail: "How can I even think about boxing when my fellow countrymen and women are being murdered in the streets of Kiev? It is so terribly sad. I want to pay my respect to those tortured and beaten up, to those put in prison and to those who have been killed. They died as heroes."

As for the blonde beauty, she has no problem in delaying her wedding because she wants a "fun, happy, and stress-free" ceremony.

Previously, the "I Love You, Beth Cooper" star said that despite her ups and downs with Klitschko, her best version continues to shine when she's with him: "It means a lot when you experience life with someone, then you experience life without him and decide that you don't want to live without him. You date, you try to be with different people, you make mistakes, and you get to know yourself in the process. And in the end you want to be with someone who makes you the best version of yourself."
