Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Kids: Shiloh Jolie-Pitt ‘Laughed’ In Ange’s Face After Being Offered The Role Of Young Princess Aurora In ‘Maleficent’

It was not easy for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt kids to accept their mom's comeback movie role as Maleficent the Mistress of All Evil.

"When Pax saw me for the first time, he ran away and got upset - and I thought he was kidding, so I was pretending to chase him until I actually found him crying," Jolie recalls. "I had to take off pieces [of the makeup] in front of him to show him it was all fake and not freak out so much."

Eventually, the kids managed to accept it, Pax and Zahara even ended up being extras in the infamous christening scene. "I had to walk by them being very mean," Jolie says. "Of course, I wanted to stop and wink at them."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's youngest daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt even managed to portray a very important role in the film, young Princess Aurora.

However, Vivienne was not the first choice for the role, Ange revealed on her interview with ELLE, it was in fact Shiloh, who turned down the offer because, she finds it hilarious.

"I asked Shiloh about being Aurora, and she laughed in my face," Jolie told ELLE magazine's June 2014 issue. "She said she'd be a horned creature."

Thus, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt took the role, "For young Aurora, they needed a child who wouldn't be fazed by the Mistress of All Evil hissing, 'I don't like children' in her face," Jolie told ELLE. "And my little Vivienne -- we call her my shadow, because there's nothing I can do to shake her. I can be tired, I can be grumpy, I can be in a terrible mood, and she doesn't care. It's 'Mommy, Mommy,' and she'll cling to me."

"We knew that she would still do that thing, she'd still smile at me and insist that I pick her up," the actress continued. "So we couldn't really cast anybody else."

She also said on a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly that she was so attached with her role as "Maleficent" that she felt lonely when the filming concluded, saying, "I was quite sad to put my staff down and put my horns away because somehow, she just lives in a different world," Jolie admitted. "But I did have to take my staff home to practice walking with it in my cloak. Then I would go outside and scream at the bushes to expand my voice and play with my voice. So, mom was a bit nutso for a period," Brad Pitt's fiancee quipped.

The Hollywood couple attended the "Maleficent" movie private exhibit in London, England where the eldest of the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt kids, Maddox, was in attendance looking dashing in a leather jacket.

Continuing their matching ensembles trend, Angelina Jolie, who plays the Mistress of All Evil, looked stunning in her long sequined Atelier Versace open back black gown. The actress showcased her equally gorgeous engagement ring as she hugged her "12 Years A Slave" actor fiancé.

Pitt, 50, on the other hand wore an all-black ensemble and an ombre-lensed glasses to match his fiancée.
