He was spotted flirting with lots of girls while on the One Direction "Where We Are" world tour 2014.

The 20-year-old One Direction singer Liam Payne dated ex girlfriend Sophia Smith for eight months before they reportedly broke up a few weeks ago, according to the Independent.

But Liam Payne seems ready to start dating again; he was spotted flirting up a storm at David Beckham's swimwear range launch party at Shoreditch House in London Wednesday night.

"Liam was chatting-up lots of girls at the party," a source told The Mirror.

"He's making the most of being single, as of all the boys he is the one that has been in the longest relationships while being in the band. He was really keen to get back on the market."

One girl in particular caught Liam Payne's eye at an after party at Chiltern House, according to rumors.

"Liam caught the eye of a fashion student from California at the bash," the insider added.

"He insisted the student, Shelby, and her friends join them after the party."

This is quite a change from Liam's previous emotional state - as we reported earlier, Liam posted a series of depressing Twitter messages on May 2, signaling to fans that he had ended his relationship with Sophia:

"Can't be without you"

"Worse thing I ever did was let you go"

"No all I got left is the thought of you."

The tweets were so heart-breaking that the hashtag "#CheerUpLiam" started trending, thanks to One Direction fans trying to bring a smile to Liam's face.

"They were spending too much time apart and it's only going to get worse this year - the band going on a super long tour, her getting busier with university," a source said about the couple, according to The Hollywood Gossip.

"Too much long distance," the source added. "It was draining for the both of them and led to a lot of arguments. Liam was the one who chose to end it."

"There was no way to maintain the relationship," a second source said. "He had to do it as they would never see each other and he didn't think it was fair."
