Jay Z, Beyonce’s ‘’On The Run' Tour Trailer Faces Online Backlash? Video Is Overtop With Cameo From Music Power Couple’s Famous Friends

Jay Z and Beyonce's "On the Run Tour" trailer faced online backlash as music critics noted the overrun of cameos from the power couple's famous celebrity friends.

The music mogul and his wife surprised everybody when they released the trailer without so much as promotion.

According to Dayna Evans of Gawker.com, "the video is four minutes of several middling famous people running around in pursuit of the more famous duo, plus guns. It is the shellacked patchwork Jeff Koons yacht crashing into a Ride the Ducks tour of Minneapolis."

The website also noted a veritable feast of cameos from Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Emily Rossum, Guillermo Díaz, Jake Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, Rashida Jones and Kidada Jones.

"In less than four minutes, Sean Penn, Blake Lively, Don Cheadle and Jake Gyllenhaal all make cameos," the New York Post added.

The Post said that Jay Z and Beyonce's "On The Run" tour trailer is another attempt by the power couple to move on after last week's bad PR when Solange Knowles was caught on CCTV attacking the rapper.

Jay Z and Beyonce's "On The Run" tour already received a backlash following its very expensive tickets which are far and above the industry average.

According to Forbes.com, quoting TiqIQ, the average price for Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run" tour is $342.67. For instance the ticket costs for their individual concerts were $180.20 on average for the rapper's Magna Carta Tour, and $294.01 for Queen Bey's Mrs. Carter Show.

In comparison, Eminem commanded an average ticket cost of $279.50, which is still 16.55 % below that Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run" tickets.

According to @JahMari_Couture: "Beyonce & Jay Z Tickets Better Come With A Bottle Of Water From The Fountain Of Youth Cause ..."

Princeton Hernandez @itsPrincey: "That's the VIP package price??? Nah. Them niggaz would have to give me Blue Ivy after the show for that much."

Drew @iDrewIvy chimed in: "I hope you realise you're going to 50+ year old, snobby, rich, white people that will sit down the entire show, at front row."
