Star Wars Episode 7 News Update: J.J. Abrams Ready To Give The World A ‘GREAT’ Film! Working Title Revealed – ‘The Ancient Fear’

Star Wars Episode 7 news update:

Following the highly-anticipated revelation of the actors included in the lineup for the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise, fans became more eager to find out anything and everything about the film.

On that note, Screen Crush  released a letter written by J.J. Abrams himself, addressed to the cast and crew of Star Wars saying:

"Dearest Cast and Crew, What an honor it is to work beside all of you, on Star Wars - Ep VII. I can't thank you enough, for all work past and future. Let's take good care, of not just ourselves, but of each other. Amazing, but true: The world awaits this film. Let's give 'em something GREAT. xo JJ"

It's great to know that Abrams acknowledges the amount of responsibility given to him to helm the highly-anticipated film, and it's definitely a relief for the Star Wars fans knowing that they could expect "something GREAT" from Abrams and the team.

Furthermore, Harry of Ain't It Cool unleashed a major Star Wars bomb, revealing an alleged working title for J.J. Abrams' film saying, "my original source had told me back in January that Abu Dhabi was a location, and when that came to be, he sent me a scoop that the title for STAR WARS EPISODE VII was THE ANCIENT FEAR."

In addition he said:

"a source that I'm told to call Col. Mustard claimed completely on his own that "the working title" was THE ANCIENT FEAR....

"It refers to Max Von Sydow's villain who makes Pazuzu look like a pussy!" he added.

'Girls' star Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow are among the chosen ones to star in J.J. Abram's film as reported by Variety.

They will join original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and R2-D2, who was actually the first cast confirmed to be joining Star Wars Episode 7.

But Wait! More names are to be revealed, according to The Wrap. Just as who could possibly join the confirmed actors?

Long-rumored British actor Maisie Richarson-Sellers has not been named during the "first wave" of Star Wars Episode 7 cast revelations which, paved way to the speculation that there could be more news coming our way soon.

"Unknown British actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers has been widely rumored to be the frontrunner for that role, though her absence from Tuesday's announcement indicates one of three things - her deal hasn't closed, the part went to someone else, or the character has been written out of the script, which was recently retooled by Abrams and Empire Strikes Back writer Lawrence Kasdan," The Wrap reports.

It has also been reported that JJ Abrams is still looking to cast a major female role for the film.

Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn revealed that Star Wars episode 7 had begun filming at the start of the month, where he added that most of the cast had already been chosen.

For more Star Wars Episode 7 news, Badass Digest revealed that Star Wars Episode 7 production will start in Morocco for two weeks with a possible trip to Tunisia. "The latter was the original setting used to double for Tatooine, home planet of the Skywalkers, and some of the sets that were built still remain as weathered monuments to the making of the films."

With that said, there's a possibility that Star Wars Episode 7 plot could include Tatooine in it, but with Disney getting everything under wraps it's really hard to tell.

Star Wars Episode 7 is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
