Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, released in the market on November 2012, comes preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, according to GSM Arena. However, through the use of custom firmware, users can now install Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
The custom ROM, CyanogenMod 11 is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat update and is currently compatible with the I8190 and I8190N models of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.
