‘Ink Master’ Season 5 All Set With Casting Calls In Place; Season 4 Winner Scott Marshall’s Victory Expected All Along?

"Ink Master" season 5 is all set as production initiate casting calls for both tattoo artists and human canvasses. Season 4 winner Scott Marshall's victory wasn't much of a surprise because the tattoo artist has been a season favorite.

According to the casting call of "Ink Master" season 5:

"We are in search of highly skilled tattoo artists from across the country!

Put your tattooing skills to the test in this high stakes competition for the chance to win a $100,000 cash prize and the coveted title of "Ink Master!"

The producers are looking for "creativity, artistic skills and personality" from the tattoo artists so they can impress not just the judges but viewers as well.

For human canvasses, the "Ink Master" season 5 casting call said:

"Are you all inked up and ready for your next big piece? Or, are you a first timer who has always wanted a tattoo, and now you're finally ready to take the plunge onto an artist's table?

"Have you ever wanted the shock value of a horrific or biomechanical-style tattoo?

"Do you want to get a portrait to memorialize a loved one or to pay homage to your heritage?

"Is there a daring area that you have always wanted to have tattooed?

"If so, then "Ink Master" wants to see and hear from you."

Meanwhile, "Ink Master" season 4 winner Scott Marshall seems to be a foregone conclusion since he consistently scored high from the judges during the challenges. His final back piece that took 35 hours to complete wowed the judges who him the victory.

"I'm feeling great, it's a huge sense of relief and a great sense of accomplishment," Scott Marshall said in an interview with Chicago's Red Eye.

"Ink Master" host Dave Navarro announced on the season 4 finale that season 3 contestants Jason Clay Dunn and Joshua Hibbard will be back next season to battle in the competition.
