‘Castle’ Season 7 Spoilers: Series Spinoff Possible With Nathan Fillion’s Character’s Untimely Death? Creator Confirm Richard Is Not Dead!

"Castle" season 7 spoilers are up and Nathan Fillion revealed a spinoff after Richard Castle's untimely "death" in the season 6 finale. His demise, however, is premature as confirmed by the show's creator.

"I don't know how it's going to work out after the untimely death of 'Castle' in season 6," Nathan Fillion said during the convention in Dallas, according to Cartermatt.  "I know that Molly Quinn is constantly pushing for a 'Castle' spin-off. We're calling it 'Castle: Legacy.'"

However, Nathan Fillion is mum about the details on the spinoff or any other "Castle" season 7 spoilers.

Earlier, series creator Andrew Marlow junked the idea that Richard Castle might have died in the fiery blast of the season 6 finale.

When asked by TV Guide to confirm the fans' worst fears about the titular character's death, he said, "I think we know what the title of the show is."

Marlow also said that eventually Richard Castle and Katherine Beckett will get married.

"We know that there's a cost to ending a season this way. We know that people are looking for that [wedding] moment, and that's a moment that we're going to get to. But there's still some storytelling that we have to get through before we get there," he told TV Guide.

In another interview with Entertainment Weekly, the EP revealed that they are looking at other shows where the characters are married but it doesn't do anything to hamper the storytelling.

"You look at 'Bones' as the model and there's a version where you go on to season 10, 11, 12 and we'll see if our people have the appetite for that," he said.

If Richard Castle is alive, will that mean there's still a wedding in the near future?

Cartermatt continued with the "Castle" season 7 spoilers by theorizing that the wedding can take place as early as the season premiere.

"The show doesn't like to dwell on long-term stories very often, and following the reaction to the finale, we cannot see them delaying the vows for another year just for the sake of doing so," it said.
