One Direction's Liam Payne is single after his break up from ex girlfriend Sophia Smith - but judging by his pick-up lines, it doesn't seem like Liam Payne is dating anyone seriously at the moment.

One Direction bandmate Harry Styles told Very magazine (via Unreality TV), "I once went out with Liam and he has some funny chat-up lines. He went up to a girl and said, 'Do you have a plaster because I hurt my knee when I fell for you?"

While his choice of pick-up lines suggest that Liam Payne isn't having much luck in the dating world, the 20-year-old One Direction singer may be doing better than you think.

Liam Payne was spotted flirting up a storm at David Beckham's swimwear range launch party at Shoreditch House in London last week, during One Direction's "Where We Are" 2014 world tour.

"Liam was chatting-up lots of girls at the party," a source told The Mirror.

"He's making the most of being single, as of all the boys he is the one that has been in the longest relationships while being in the band. He was really keen to get back on the market."

One girl in particular caught Liam Payne's eye at an after party at Chiltern House, according to rumors.

"Liam caught the eye of a fashion student from California at the bash," the insider added.

"He insisted the student, Shelby, and her friends join them after the party."

Payne dated ex girlfriend Sophia Smith for eight months before they reportedly broke up a few weeks ago, according to the Independent.

Meanwhile, Harry Styles also revealed to Very magazine that rumors of his new girlfriends and dating life are driving him up the wall.

"I'd say more than 90% of the people I get linked with are my friends. At the moment, it appears that I have 7,000 girlfriends! It's ridiculous," Harry Styles said.
