Juan Gabriel Death Rumor Update: Tour 2014 USA Dates Details Here; Postponed Due To Pneumonia Recovery, Ordered To Two Months Of ‘Absolute Rest’

Juan Gabriel is one of the latest celebrities to fall victim to death rumors following his hospitalization for pneumonia. Though Juan Gabriel's pneumonia recovery is going well, his tour 2014 dates in the USA have been postponed and he is ordered to two months of "absolute rest" when he is discharged from the hospital. We have details on his new 2014 tour USA dates below.

TV reporter Joaquín López-Doriga took to Twitter to assure fans that the Juan Gabriel death reports were just rumors, according to the Latin Times.

"I've been informed that news of Juan Gabriel's death is false. His recovery is going so well that he will be released from the hospital in Las Vegas tomorrow," he said.

The Mexican singer has been hospitalized in Las Vegas for nearly three weeks, and has been ordered to two months of absolute rest upon his release, Fox News Latino reports.

Jesus Salas, Juan Gabriel's rep, told Mexican newspaper Reforma that the singer is recovering well and is expected to be discharged in the next couple of days.

"After he leaves the hospital, which will be one of these days, he will rest; he will not work until August," Salas said on Wednesday. "He will then start his South American tour, with the first country being Peru."

The 64-year-old "Abrázame Muy Fuerte" singer first worried fans when he was hospitalized on April 14 with symptoms of pneumonia after completing a three-hour concert in Las Vegas. Four days later, just hours after his release, he was rushed back to Southern Hills hospital with a "heart condition," according to Televisa and other Mexican media. Death rumors began when Juan Gabriel was hospitalized a third time reportedly with high blood pressure complications.

These ticket holders will be e-mailed a link in 7 to 10 business days with an option to buy a limited number of tickets to see one of the rescheduled September concerts.
