‘Castle’ Season 7 Spoilers: Writers Hint How Premiere Would Take Off; Cast Nathan Fillion All Set To Reprise Series’ Lead Role

“Castle” season 7 spoilers are expected to be more frequent now that the writers of the show have come back for brainstorming. Nathan Fillion, meanwhile, has confirmed to reprise the title character’s role.

Cartermatt revealed that writer Chad Gomez Creasey posted on Twitter: “I know something you don’t know. #Castle S7,”

Writer Shawn Waugh also posted: “Just saved a seagull at the Castle writers' retreat. Hello, Season 7!”

While they weren’t what fans are hoping for in terms of “Castle” season 7 spoilers, cartermatt is hoping that “the return of the writers to work means for us more opportunities to tease what will be coming in season 7.”

“Castle” creator Andrew Marlowe, meanwhile, confirmed to TVLine that Nathan Fillion is back for season 7.

He also offered some “Castle” season 7 spoilers when asked whether he needs facial reconstruction after that horrible car burning scene, he said: "No, I don't think we can quite ‘Doctor Who’ Castle."

“We're actually very excited about where we're going next season, and this (Castle's car in the ditch) helps set up some of the elements that we're going to be dealing with coming back," Marlowe added.

He said the writers thought it was an “interesting way” to end season 6 as a major cliffhanger that will trigger conversations among the fans. "With the mythology that we're introducing, we want to start it off with a bang," he said.

Nathan Fillion earlier said that they are thinking about a “Castle” spinoff after the untimely “death” of Richard Castle in season 6.

“I know that Molly Quinn is constantly pushing for a 'Castle' spin-off. We're calling it 'Castle: Legacy,’" Nathan Fillion said during the convention in Dallas, according to Cartermatt.

However, Nathan Fillion is mum about the details on the spinoff or any other “Castle” season 7 spoilers.
