‘Bates Motel’ Season 3 Spoilers: Caleb To Return To White Pine Bay? Showrunners Praise Cast Kenny Johnson’s Performance

"Bates Motel" season 3 spoilers are really heading towards the return of Caleb, Norma Bates'mysterious brother, as the showrunners praised Kenny Johnson's performance which will warrant a comeback.

"We loved him so much as a character, and we think Kenny's [Johnson] so amazing," showrunner Kerry Ehrin said, per Hollywood News Daily,  who offered some "Bates Motel" season 3 spoilers.

"His chemistry with all the actors was fantastic, and it's just such a rich world - that whole relationship and the history and what really happened and how it affected Norma - that Carlton [Cuse] and I both really want to figure out a way to bring him back in a way that feels organic and real," she added.

In season 2 of the show, it was revealed that Caleb was the father of Dylan and he fled White Pines Bay after Norman Bates attacked him.

"Considering the horrible stories Norma had to say about Caleb at the end of Season 1, he likely won't be very well received," Terri Schwartz of Zap2it wrote, as she added that this will add to the already tense relationship between Norma and Norman.

Max Thieriot, who plays Dylan Massett in the series, told the website that it's always "exciting" to bring in another family member to further understand the motivations of the characters.

"Just having a new family show up into the relationship kind of throws a curve ball at everybody, and you wonder why has this guy not been here? Why has he not been here? What's going on?" he said.

"The thing I love about him [Caleb] is it's the only connection we have to Norma's childhood, and I'm fascinated by what that was about," Kerry Ehrin said.
