Girl's Day To Make A Comeback On July 17th With Fresh, Summer Concept
Idol group Girl's Day is making a comeback on July 17 with a special summer single, where they will experiment with a new concept.
"Girl's Day is planning to have a comeback with a special season song by the producing team Duble Sidekick. This album was specifically planned for Girl's Day 4th Anniversary on July 9," according to the group's label, Dream Tea Entertainment.
The girls are reportedly hoping their new single will be a hit, especially after the success of working with Duble Sidekick for their previous single "Something."
"The album will be a mini album. It's not only a 4th anniversary album, but also a summer special album, and it'll be full of bright, lively music. Girl's Day is also preparing a special event with this album release so they can give the love back to their fans," explained a representative from their label.
Girl's Day recently released several photos that were taken for their "Lotte World Water Park" advertisement. The girls are pictured having a great time as they show off their stunning summer bodies.
The members of Girl's Day have been involved in various individual activities as they prepare for the release of their new single.
Yura is currently "married" to Hong Jong Hyun, who has been cast as her "husband" for the hit reality television show, "We Got Married."
The new season of the show premiered on June 7, with the episode showing the two slowly getting to know each other.
When the two awkwardly met for the first time, Yura commented "I'm very mischievous" while Hong stated, "I'm a bit quiet, so I'd like to meet someone more lively."
The members of Girl's Day were seen on the show as well, poking fun at Yura, making the meeting even more embarrassing for the idol member.
"It was so awkward. It was one of the top 2 most awkward moments in my 23 years of life. My members were poking fun at me, so I was more shy and embarrassed. This is all Hyeri's fault," stated Yura.
Hong Jong Hyun tried to change the awkwardness, stating, "I want it to be fun like we're friends."
"I like to have a good time too," said Yura.
