Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Rumors, Release Date: New Samsung Phablet Gets 5.7" QHD Display, 16MP Sony Made Shooter, Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 rumors are running rampant as the release date of the upcoming Android phone approaches. While we won't be seeing Samsung's newest phablet until September, the rumor mill is already filled with some interesting details about the new generation Note. 

In a recent report by GSM Arena, trusted leaker SamMobile revealed that the Korean tech giant will divide the entire world into regions wherein each will get a specific type of chipset. 

In the report, North America, Japan, Korea, and China will get the Snapdragon 805 version of the device, while Europe and other international versions should get the Exynos 5433 chipset. 

Aside from the internals, the report also allegedly confirms the device's screen. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will reportedly sport a 5.7-inch display with a whopping QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution. This could be the highest resolution ever in a Samsung smartphone in case the Galaxy S5 Prime does not get launched right away. 

Also on board is a Sony-made camera that packs 16 megapixels. The shooter reportedly comes with optical image stabilization which should be great for Android fans who love smartphone photography. 

In the report, the Galaxy Note 4 is also rumored to get a EV sensor in order for the S Health app to detect the user's sun exposure. 

Samsung has introduced a number of unique but oftentimes gimmicky features to their smartphones, though these features certainly encourage consumers to get Samsung phones rather than similarly-spec'd devices which do not offer as many options. 

According to recent reports and rumors, Samsung may be sticking to its usual announcement schedule for its upcoming devices. So after the Tab S event tomorrow, the Korean tech giant's next big event could be its press launch during the IFA in Berlin. Aside from the Galaxy Note 4, also slated to make its debut is the new Galaxy Gear 3.
