‘Castle’ Season 7 Spoilers: Stana Katic Returns With Wedding Dress On; Series Creator ‘To Start Exactly Where We Ended’

"Castle" season 7 spoilers are here and it seems the first episode will immediately follow what happened in season 6 finale, and that means Stana Katic will return with her wedding dress still on. Series creator Andrew Marlowe confirmed that the show will "start exactly where we ended."

Michael Ausiello of TVLine dished out some "Castle" season 7 spoilers when he talked to creator Andrew Marlowe who reportedly said that the first episode will immediately deal with the aftermath of the fiery car crash.

"Viewers will witness the immediate fallout from Rick's fiery car wreck, confirms series creator Andrew Marlowe. Translation: no time jump," he wrote.

He then quoted the creator as saying: "We feel like, given the way we left off, we have an obligation to start exactly where we ended. So we'll be picking up in real time."

According to Cartermatt, this decision is a slight departure from most TV shows where in between season, there's a jump in the timeline.

"This certainly makes the premiere potentially all the more exciting, with one of the questions being if and when Rick is rescued, will he and Beckett still have the wedding that they were hoping for ... or a wedding at all?"

The website also said that diving right into where it left off will provide the viewers the satisfaction of immediately knowing who the "mystery captors are, what they want, and how they will impact the show moving forward."

Andrew Marlowe also offered some "Castle" season 7 spoilers to TVLine when asked whether he needs facial reconstruction after that horrible car burning scene, he said: "No, I don't think we can quite 'Doctor Who' Castle."

"We're actually very excited about where we're going next season, and this (Castle's car in the ditch) helps set up some of the elements that we're going to be dealing with coming back," Marlowe added.
