LG G3 Release Date: Pre-Order For New Android Smartphone Now On-Going In The UK, To Arrive On July 1

If we were LG Electronics we would surely be pleased with how it has been welcomed by the market. A couple of weeks after it was announced, the device has already sold hundreds of thousands of units in its home country in Korea, and soon the UK and the rest of Europe would get the handset.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the company's newest flagship device, the LG G3 is now available for pre-orders in UK, and would be delivered to purchasers on July 1.

If you are living in the UK and you want to get arguably the best Android smartphone to date, there are several options. EE offers the LG G3 with no cash upfront and £37.99 monthly for the next 2 years on contract.

In the report, Carphone Warehouse would even send you a £100 cashback cheque within 30 days of your new contract for the smartphone.

So do you think the LG G3 is worth your time? In case you missed its announcement, the LG phone packs a 5.5-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a quad-core CPU running at 2.5GHz, the same as the ones running on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Sony Xperia Z2, and 3GB of RAM for superior performance when it comes to multitasking.

There is also a 32GB built in memory for the G3, that is if you are going to get the 3GB RAM version. There is a slighly lower-end edition that packs a 16GB internal storage and 2GB of RAM.

Behind the LG handset is a 13MP primary shooter that is capable of shooting 2k videos. In front lies the 2.1MP front cam which can handle 1080p clips. The LG G3 runs on a massive 3,000mAh battery and is powered by Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat out of the box.

Now that we know how the G3 performs in its home country, leaving the Galaxy S5 in the dust, let us see whether it will carry out the same success in the UK and the rest of Europe.
