Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Specs: 5.7" QHD Display Confirmed By Leaked Document, Rumors Point To Curved Version

For many months there have been a lot of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs rumors making the rounds all over the Internet, though we can't seem to find one that can be considered closest to the real information. However, in a new report, the upcoming Android phablet has been confirmed to get a huge 5.7-inch display, packed with Quad HD or 2K resolution.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Galaxy Note 4 detail has appeared in a shipment document as the device made its way to India recently for testing and evaluation purposes. And while we can't see any other 'confirmation' aside from the screen detail, that may be enough for now.

If the rumored Galaxy F or Galaxy S5 Prime would not make its debut yet, the Galaxy Note 4 would be the company's first Quad HD smartphone. And with a 5.7-inch display, it is even more impressive that the Korean tech manufacturer was able to implement the 2560 x 1440 resolution.

In another related report, the Galaxy Note 4 release date should come in September wherein the device can make its debut during the IFA event in Berlin.

Interestingly, it looks like Samsung is following the current trend set up by other OEMs in that the Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to come in two versions. According to rumors, the first one would be the standard one with a flat design like previous Galaxy Note devices.

On the other hand, there would also be a curved version of the smartphone. While the Galaxy Round is the company's first curved smartphone did not make it big last year, it could sell when the technology is implemented in an already popular lineup from Samsung.

Other rumored specs of the Galaxy Note 4 include a quad-core CPU, Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP primary camera, and Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.
