North West’s First Birthday Party: Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Holds ‘Kidchella;' Gathering Marred By Khloe Kardashian’s Headdress Controversy?
North West's first birthday showed her parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would go great lengths for their daughter as they put up a "Kidchella" themed-party after their intimate celebration in New York. But the happy affair was reportedly marred by aunt Khloe's headdress controversy.
Over the weekend, the Kardashian - Jenner clan and their friends celebrated North West's first birthday party with a theme inspired by Coachella music festival.
Kim Kardashian's Instagram posts paraded several clips of what took place during the event. In one post, there was a picture of her holding baby North with husband Kanye West by her side while the family was in front of colorful tie-dye birthday cake. It seemed that North was about to blow her candle when the photo was taken.

The event even had a ferris wheel and karaoke stage among other treats, HollywoodLife reported.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner made North West's first birthday party even more fun when they took the center stage together with Moises Arias and Kylie's rumored boyfriend, Jaden Smith. The group performed "Glowing" by Nikki Williams.
In an Instagram video posted by Kendall Jenner, the girls were seen jumping up and down to the music. They seemed as if they were truly having the time of their life with the budding model captioning the post: "we have way too much fun at children's party's. KIDCHELLA 2014 killed it."
But MailOnline noted that North West's birthday party was marred when Khloe Kardashian sported a traditional native American Indian headdress during the event.
Khloe Kardashian's Instagram photo showed her sitting on a mat with the headdress on and captioned it: "Ray of clouds. Chirping of birds. Gurgling of water. Granting desire. One with water. #Kidchella my first Coachella!!!"
The post earned criticisms from her followers as the move is "widely considered offensive."
