Once Upon A Time Season 4 Spoilers: Elsa To Appear In More Episodes Than Anna And Kristoff, Co-Creator On 'Frozen' Queen As A Villain

As "Once Upon a Time" goes on hiatus before season 4, spoilers regarding the incoming "Frozen" characters have surfaced.

Most fans know by now that the characters Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff from "Frozen" will grace "Once Upon a Time" season 4, and recent spoilers confirm that they will appear on different capacities.

TVLine reports that Elsa, being the character shown at the end of "Once Upon a Time" season 3 finale, will appear in the most number of episodes, about nine. Anna, however, will appear from six to eight episodes, and Kristoff will appear in as many as six.

According to the official character descriptions, one of the rumors that is fairly confirmed is that "Once Upon a Time" season 4 will introduce the characters after the events of the Disney animated movie.

"The Queen of Arendelle, this late-20s/early-30s beauty long struggled to control her 'chilling' powers and even unleashed upon her town an eternal winter during her coronation," says the description for Elsa.

"He has a sometimes-gruff demeanor that can hide his deep love for Anna and her sister Elsa," says the description for Kristoff. "When we first meet Kristoff on 'Once,' he is adjusting to life at the castle — including sleeping indoors for the first time in his life."

Given Kristoff's description, it seems the story will take place fairly quickly following the events in "Frozen." And yet, the character description for Elsa is late-20s/early-30s—significantly older than that of the animated character.

Meanwhile, the co-creator of "Once Upon a Time" was asked whether Elsa will be a villain in season 4, and spoilers confirm…that she might be.

"Maybe yes, maybe no," teased Adam Horowitz. "One can be in a snit for many reasons."
