Kate Middleton and Prince William Go Glam At Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Kate Middleton and Prince William's wax figures at Madame Tussauds are getting glam makeovers.

Madame Tussauds London will be doing the first makeovers for the wax figures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge since they were first displayed at the storied museum in in 2012.

The wax sculptures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be a little more glamorous at Madame Tussauds.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were first installed together at the London tourist attraction two years ago. The figures are placed in the royal zone along with those of the Queen, the Prince Of Wales and Prince Harry.

Madam Tussauds want to mark their first wedding anniversary, but after a year in the same clothes it seemed time for a fashion update.

The wax figures had been dressed in the outfits which Kate Middleton and Prince William wore when they got engaged. Those have been replaced by evening wear.

Kate was been dressed in a full-length turquoise silk jersey Issa London gown. Middleton's shoes and clutch bag were designed by LK Bennett. Prince William is sporting a double-breasted black Gieves and Hawkes dinner suit.

Tussauds marketing manager Matthew Clarkson said: "The Royal Family have always been the highlight of a visit for many guests to Madame Tussauds London. And the young royal couple have been particularly popular since their launch two years ago.
