Nicole Scherzinger Boyfriend 2014 Lewis Hamilton Doesn’t Show For Girlfriend’s Birthday; Long Distance Relationship Is ‘Hard’ And ‘Not Natural,’ ‘Your Love’ Singer Says

Nicole Scherzinger celebrated her 36th birthday in Monaco last Sunday, but her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton was nowhere in sight. Nicole Scherzinger recently admitted to Cosmopolitan magazine that being in a long distance relationship with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton isn't easy, but it's worth it.

Nicole Scherzinger posted the photo above on Instagram, posing on a couch in a patterned dress and a wide-brimmed hat, with the caption: "Birthday bliss in #Monaco sending love to all my fans, Thank u so much for ur birthday wishes XOXO".

Her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, 29, was busy attending a luxury lunch at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Chichester. Meanwhile, Scherzinger distracted herself from his absence by living it up with her girlfriends in the South of France, where Lewis ironically lives. Though it may be upsetting that Lewis couldn't attend Nicole's 36th birthday, the happy couple recently celebrated their six year anniversary together in Venice and the Hamptons. Lucky girl!

The former "X Factor" judge opened up in the August issue of Cosmopolitan magazine about her tough long distance relationship with Lewis Hamilton, Express UK reports. She called it "crazy romantic" but not easy.

"Relationships are hard and having to hold a long-distance relationship is even harder," she said.

"It's kudos to us for growing and trying - there's so much love there. It's just the distance, it's not natural for anyone. But I'm good and I'm happy."

But when asked if she would cut back on her work to spend more time with her boyfriend, the gorgeous lady stuck to her guns.

"No, absolutely not. This is my passion, I have so much more to give, and with him - whether we're on or off - I wholeheartedly support him in everything he does," she said.

"It's good we have that love and respect for each other."
