LeBron James News: Top 3 Landing Spots For 4-Time MVP After NBA Free Agency Ends

After a weekend of rumors and reports, the LeBron James news all over the NBA asks one important question: where would The King go?

After winning two championships with the Heat on four NBA seasons, the four-time MVP now has the option to move to another team and make a name for it.

His decision was heavily affected by the domination of their NBA Finals rivals - the Spurs - of the Heat during this year's championship series. In the Finals, the Spurs won against Miami by an average of more than 15 points per game, fittingly making the series one of the most lopsided NBA Finals match-ups in history.

James want Heat president Pat Riley to make the changes, but it has been taking him too long.

So here are the top three teams which are currently possible destinations for the 29-year-old veteran forward.

1. Cleveland Cavaliers

After leaving Cleveland in 2010, James may be set to make a grand return, now that he has already won two rings with the Heat. He may take his added NBA Finals experience into practice and finally bring the Cavs their first ever NBA title in franchise history just as he promised. And now he is not alone in doing so. The Cavs have since become a decent contender with Kyrie Irving, Anthony Bennet and now Andrew Wiggins.

2. Phoenix Suns

Of all the teams in the NBA, the Suns have the most probable opportunity given their huge cap room to sign both James and even a star of his choice (probably Bosh). The Suns have a decent guard in Eric Bledsoe, who shares the same agent as James, as well as other supporting stars such as Doran Gragic and Miles Plumlee.

3. Miami Heat

The Heat are still the favorites when it comes to James' future, though it may be too late for the rebuilding stage that Lebron wants from the start. Before the start of the week, Heat president Pat Riley managed to sign two important pieces which could help Miami get a decent supporting cast. Danny Granger is a streak shooter in the four spot that can also post up, while Josh McRoberts is a post playmaker that resembles the role of Boris Diaw during their recent stint in the Finals against the Spurs.
